One of the easiest ways to lower your level of consciousness.

The basis of politics is around taking positions, trying to sway the opinions of others. Its basis is not necessarily in finding truth, nor necessarily presenting the truth to others. It’s about taking sides, arguing for an agenda / position on something. If it’s truth or peace one is looking for, meditation, contemplation and reflection etc are a better place to start.

One’s level of consciousness can change from one moment to the next, depending on your experiences and thoughts. Our general level of consciousness also changes over our lifetime. For those on a spiritual path, one is aiming to ever increase their level of consciousness.

Levels of consciousness vary from person to person. At the lower end of consciousness are human behaviours and thoughts such as hate, jealousy, hopelessness. On the upper levels are behaviours and thoughts such as unconditional love, peace and enlightenment.

As David R Hawkins diligently points out in his writings about his calibrated levels of consciousness, the shifting point in ones level of consciousness is courage. At the level of courage, one is making a shift into far better behaviours and thoughts.

By changing our thoughts about the world, we change our outlook, emotions, behaviour and general enjoyment of life. Being on a spiritual path, allows one to be able to raise their levels of consciousness and wellbeing.
