An introduction to a little daisy spiritual blog
A blog for everyone seeking deeper meaning in life, spiritual growth, contentment, gratitude, peace, a quieter mind and real happiness; known to some, as enlightenment.
The blog is based on my own lived experience with all my own personal thoughts and ideas. The aim of the blog is to present the reader with a springing point for their own consideration to enable them to see similar connections with the worlds around them. A little daisy, a reflection on earth of the days eye (sun).
As little and as humble as the daisy is, it’s a perfect symbol of spiritual growth and enlightenment. It reflects the individual journey or path each of us is on. Like the sun; the daisy can be seen in many places of the world, a daily reminder of nature and growth. The daisy is a symbol of oneness, each petal is actually a flower of it’s own, but together they form a oneness. Oneness and being is the ultimate aim of spiritual enlightenment.
The daisy represents new beginnings or a new birth, seen as it opens its petals each day. As with all things spiritual, things often have many levels of meaning and these meanings will change as we grow spiritually. How we see or understand something on any given day, we can find a completely different and deeper meaning on another. The daisy may appear as just a flower, but at a deeper level of meaning it’s the day’s eye; a representation on earth of a greater worldly consciousness.
As humans, much of our mental pain and suffering is from our thoughts and our perceptions about the world around us. With eyes to see and ears to hear, through contemplation, reflection and observation via film, music, literature, the people we meet and all the other things we see around us we can see the messages left in plain sight for all of us to see to enable us to grow over our lifetime.
