Reality does not repeat itself but it rhymes.

Reality, a kind of divine matrix.

In a previous blog I discussed the song Sign of the Times by Harry Styles and about how we have been here before and that reality rhymes within this divine matrix.

There is a saying, ascribed to Mark Twain that “History does not repeat itself, but it rhymes”*. The source of this quote is contentious, but the phrase has been referenced a number of times in the past by various authors.

What Mr Twain was referring to was the societal, political and geo political way that mankind repeats the same problems, same boom and busts, same causes of wars, same loops of cyclical problems caused mainly by the human condition, which become predictable.

If we take Twain’s statement and put it into a spiritual context we have.

Reality doesn’t repeat itself but it rhymes.

This is something far more subtle than the point being made by Mark Twain. This rhyming reality, is much harder to put a finger on, loosely, it’s a form of synchronicity. It doesn’t have the personal meaning that synchronicity has or signs have and it’s not a co-incidence type of event either, like for example seeing five red cars passing by at once.

There are things happening, outside of our field of vision, outside of visible form in the formless that affect our reality. For those with the eyes to see and ears to here, some will have seen or felt first hand these repeating themes and occurrences in their daily life.

Theses rhymes of reality can be micro, for example one can meet a person one day, then on another, meet someone different, yet they behave in such a similar way, same mannerisms, same gestures; it’s uncanny. For those with a calm, steady and quiet awareness, these similarities in the people we meet can be spotted easily. Those without this quiet awareness just won’t be aware of these micro rhymes. There are macro rhymes too, these are rhymes on a larger scale, events that repeat across decades or centuries or greater. Given the cosmos is cyclical it is no surprise that events down here on earth also have a cyclical nature.

It feels like a divine matrix, the way things present themselves, it feels almost contrived – for reference think loosely along the lines of Jim Carey in the Truman Show. There is a hidden hand(s) a Director/God directing (not controlling) our reality. For this reason, for those that have noticed these synchronicities, rhymes, signs etc some have suggested/reached the conclusion that we are all living in a simulation. We are not, but; what we can say as spiritual beings living in a earthly vessel, is that this solid world often feels more like the unreal and that the spiritual world is more like the real.

For answers, we need to be looking further afield and into areas of the formless worlds. It is also worth noting that it has been long established that events here on earth align with celestial events and movements, take for example our sun’s activities, solar flares and also the moon’s phases have all been shown to have an effect upon worldly affairs.
